Abstract

Analyzing contemporary visual arts and design within the context of the digital era, this academic article explores both how modern technologies affect the creative process and the challenges they pose to artists and designers. It raises questions about how digital transformation reflects on the aesthetic and educational aspects of art and design. Specifically, the article examines current trends in the use of digital technologies in the creative process, analyzes the challenges arising from the digital transformation of art, and investigates the digitalization process of traditional artistic practices. Through the justification of concepts and real-life examples, the article aims to reveal the key aspects and challenges associated with the growing impact of digital technologies on art and design in the modern world. The article explores the impact of globalization and informatization on cultural exchanges and the development of art and science, particularly through expanding access to cultural resources via virtual exhibitions and information technology. It raises questions about the aesthetic and educational aspects of art and design in the digital era and examines the digitalization process of traditional artistic practices. The article focuses on global trends such as globalization and informatization, which expand access to cultural resources and facilitate cultural exchanges among people worldwide. Special attention is given to the opening of virtual museums, galleries, and libraries, which allow everyone to explore cultural heritage regardless of their place of residence, becoming extremely important during the pandemic period. The article investigates the impact of the digital era on various directions of art and design, including visual arts, art media, happenings, performance, music, cinema, and animation. The authors emphasize the importance of adapting to new conditions and preserving cultural heritage in the era of digital innovations. This article can be useful for both academic research and practical applications in the fields of art history, design, and social communications
