Aims and Scope

Goals of the present Almanac:

• positioning of circus studies as an independent segment of art criticism in the field of national humanities;
• strengthening the position of variety studies in the structure of Ukrainian art criticism;
• popularization of the achievements of music, circus, theater, and cinema;
• strengthening the scientific potential by attracting the forces of young researchers;
• actualization of the interdisciplinary research

 

Art criticism and culturological studies: circus in the system of performing arts, current issues of theater art and directing, theater design, scenography in the context of art and culture, choreography in the artistic space of culture, design, visual art, theory and history of culture, variety studies-theory, history, modernity, music studies.
